I have a C11G board. I want to take advantage of the safety charge pump to disable all my motor drivers untill I am ready to start. Do I need to enable the board first? i.e. the enable pin has 5 volts before the relay 3 can operate?
There are two ways of doing this. If your drivers get enabled with +5vdc, then just feed the output of pin 17 to the enable of the drivers. If you need a different signal, then use Relay3 for this.

You can… You can assign and wire any available output for this. But here are some thoughts on this: On stepper drivers it is usually not all that beneficial to use the enable, as they usually have auto low power when not moving, so you just can leave...
