Torch height controller system PlasmaSensCompact is a universal THC for precise plasma cutting.
PlasmaSensCompact is an integrated torch height controller and sensor for plasma cutter equipment. It merges the functionality of PlasmaSens and PlasmaSensOut into a single device, eliminating the need for a separate optical link between transmitter and receiver.
PlasmaSensCompact is a complete and reliable torch height control system as a standalone unit. PlasmaSensCompact has standard programmable ARC_OK, UP and DOWN signals. Generally, it is compatible with most CNC controller boards on the market.
The user interface is simple and user-friendly. On the left, there are 3 LEDs to indicate the state of the outputs. Next, on the right side is also an LED display. It has great readability also in a high-luminosity environment. In the default state, it shows the current arc voltage. However, menus appear on the LED display during settings.
Below the LED display are 3 buttons. They allow quick and efficient moving through menus. The user can set the following THC parameters: reference voltage, hysteresis (non-active range around reference height), delay time, and anti-dive limit voltage. All parameters are adjustable during operation.
It doesn’t need any drivers or special software and is compatible with most CNC software and hardware that accepts OK, Up and Down signals.
